School offers

All Phoenix services can be accessed by schools, including all assessments, Managing Emotions program and additional intervention packages for young people. Schools are also able to benefit from additional services tailor made for education settings.

Schools can also benefit from Best Value assessment and intervention packages when buying blocks of days starting with half-term blocks, going all the way up to year-long blocks. Please see below for details:

Assessment options

1:1 'Overcoming Anxiety' program

Our signature program, for young people who experience anxious feelings and worrying thoughts that affect their wellbeing and their day to day activities.

Up to 12 weekly one-to-one, evidence-based sessions (inclusive of assessment session).

This program includes two support sessions for a parent or carer as well as a package of education audios for them to learn alongside their young person.

'Emotional Empowerment' group

A group intervention built on DBT principles, allowing for up to ten students to attend, who would benefit from work around emotional regulation awareness and skill building.

Up to 12-week group project, bringing young people with similar difficulties together, to learn more about why emotions cause us to act in unhelpful ways, and how we can work to understand ourselves better, so we can then respond to uncomfortable feelings differently.

Includes: DBT-informed group sessions run by two therapists.

Bespoke support and training

Schools also have the option of accessing bespoke services to support existing systems and staff, such as:

 

Staff wellbeing clinics;

Drop-in clinics to discuss cases confidentially;

Training packages on a wide range of topics around supporting young people including inset day trainings;

Consultation support for existing pastoral teams and pathways.

Intervention packages

Days can be bought in blocks, either within one provision or can be used across a trust/funding cluster. 


Intervention rate : Up to £750 per day, inclusive of all offers and activities 
 

An example of how a provision may best use a day is suggested below, but this can be entirely tailored to the needs of the setting/s and their young people: 
 

Morning:    2 x individual 'Overcoming Anxiety' programs                        

Afternoon:    1 x 'Emotional Empowerment' group                                       

After school:    Staff clinic / staff training

Throughout day:    Opportunities to consult with teaching, pastoral, or safeguarding staff, SENDCo, leadership

Assessment package

 

Assessment days can be bought in packages, and then used according to need, subject to availability. 

 

For example, a funding cluster of five schools may wish to buy 10 assessment days within a term or academic year. 

The schools can then decide between them how and when they want to use the assessments. 

 

The benefits of buying assessment packages are primarily flexibility and cost. Schools can use the assessments efficiently and effectively, and we are able to offer significant discounts, as can be seen below with three examples of how the days may be used:
